A Case of Acute Cutaneous Glanders in Man

Glanders in man is rare in India. The Principal of the Bengal Veterinary College has reported that the disease is extremely rare here in man. Mr. Rajagopalam of the Imperial Veterinary Research Institute, Mukteswar, Kumaun, wrote to one (G. P.) of the authors of this note that he knew of only two cases of glanders in man in this country, both being veterinarians?Professor Gaiger (1913, 1916) and Mr. Shilston.
